Let's be straight with you

Rebel Depot LLC operates this store and website — rebel-depot.com — including all related content, features, tools, products, and services (the "Services"). We're a South Dakota LLC and we believe in doing business the straight-ahead way: no fine print designed to confuse you, no runaround when you have questions.

This Privacy Policy tells you exactly what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and who we share it with — when you visit our site, make a purchase, or get in touch with us. Our store is powered by Shopify, which means Shopify also plays a role in how your information is handled. We explain that clearly below.

If anything in our Terms of Service conflicts with this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls when it comes to your personal information. Read it. Know your rights. We want you to.

What personal information we collect

"Personal information" means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. It does not include anonymized or de-identified data. Depending on how you use our Services and where you live, we may collect the following:

Contact details — your name, mailing address, billing and shipping address, phone number, and email address.

Financial information — credit and debit card numbers, payment account information, transaction details, form of payment, and payment confirmations. We don't store full card numbers ourselves — payment processing is handled securely through Shopify and its payment partners.

Account information — your username, password, security questions, and any preferences or settings you choose.

Transaction information — what you view, put in your cart, wish-list, purchase, return, exchange, or cancel. Your order history lives here.

Communications with us — anything you include when you email us, submit a support request, or otherwise contact Rebal Depot directly.

Device and usage information — your browser type, IP address, device identifiers, and how you navigate and interact with our site. This is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you visit rebel-depot.com.

Where we collect it from

We collect personal information from the following sources:

· Directly from you — when you create an account, place an order, contact us, or otherwise share your information with us.
· Automatically through the Services — through your device and browser when you visit our site, via cookies and similar tracking technologies.
· From our service providers — including Shopify and our fulfillment, shipping, and payment processing partners who collect or process information on our behalf.
· From marketing and business partners — in limited circumstances, to help us deliver relevant advertising and improve our services.

How we use your information

We use your personal information only for legitimate business purposes. Here's exactly what that means for Rebal Depot:

To run the store and fulfill your orders. We use your information to process payments, fulfill and ship orders, handle returns and exchanges, manage your account, send order notifications, and generally make sure you get what you ordered in good shape and on time.

To improve your experience. We use your browsing and purchase history to make the store more useful for you — like recommending products that actually fit what you're into, instead of just throwing everything at the wall.

For marketing and promotions. With your consent or as permitted by law, we may send you marketing emails, promotional messages, or show you relevant ads based on your activity. You can opt out of marketing communications anytime — just use the unsubscribe link in any email we send. We'll still send you order confirmations and account-related messages because those aren't optional.

For security and fraud prevention. We use your information to protect your account, verify your identity, and detect or prevent fraudulent or unlawful activity. Your account security is partly on us, and partly on you — don't share your login credentials with anyone.

To communicate with you. We use your contact information to respond to your questions, resolve issues, and keep our relationship with you working properly.

To comply with the law. We may use and disclose your information as required by applicable law, including South Dakota state law, federal law, and valid legal process such as court orders or government requests.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Full stop. We may share it in the following limited circumstances:

· Shopify — as our e-commerce platform provider, Shopify receives and processes information about your use of the Services. See the Shopify section below for more detail.
· Service providers — including payment processors, fulfillment and shipping partners, IT providers, data analytics vendors, and customer support platforms. These parties only use your information to perform services on our behalf.
· Marketing partners — to help deliver relevant advertising. You have the right to opt out of this. See "Your Rights" below.
· When you ask us to — such as when you request a shipment or connect a third-party login or social media integration.
· Within our business structure — including affiliates or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
· When required by law — to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests from law enforcement or government agencies, enforce our policies, or protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

Our relationship with Shopify

Rebel Depot's store is hosted and powered by Shopify. That means Shopify collects and processes certain information about your access to and use of our Services in order to provide, improve, and protect the platform.

Information you submit through our store will be transmitted to and processed by Shopify, and may be shared with Shopify's own third-party partners in countries other than where you reside. Shopify also uses data from your interactions across multiple Shopify-powered merchants to provide enhanced features and services.

In these cases, Shopify is responsible for the processing of your personal information and for responding to your requests to exercise your rights over that data. To learn more about how Shopify handles your information:

Visit the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy or exercise your rights at the Shopify Privacy Portal.

Cookies and tracking technologies

Like most online stores, rebel-depot.com uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, analyze how people use the site, and support advertising. You can control cookie settings through your browser. Opting out of certain cookies may affect how parts of the site function.

We also support the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signal. If you visit our site with GPC enabled, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising from the device and browser you're using. To learn more, visit globalprivacycontrol.org. We do not honor other "Do Not Track" browser signals at this time.

Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party websites or platforms we don't own or control. Once you leave rebel-depot.com, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We're not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of those sites. If you share information publicly on social media or other platforms in connection with our store, that information may be visible to others beyond our control. Check the privacy policies of any third-party site before handing over your information.

Children's privacy

Our Services are not directed at or intended for use by children under the age of majority. In South Dakota, the age of majority is 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@rebel-depot.com and we will promptly delete it.

As of the date of this Privacy Policy, we do not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16 years of age, as defined under applicable law.

Security and how long we keep your information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. That said, no security system is completely foolproof — no one can honestly promise you perfect security, and we won't. We recommend you avoid sending sensitive information over unsecured channels.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to maintain your account, provide you with the Services, comply with our legal obligations under South Dakota and federal law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need your information, we dispose of it securely.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights listed below regarding your personal information. These rights are not unlimited and may be subject to legal exceptions, but we take them seriously and will respond to your requests as required by law.

Right to Access / Know

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you and how we use it.

Right to Delete

You can request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.

Right to Correct

You can ask us to correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.

Right to Portability

In certain circumstances, you may request a copy of your personal information in a portable format, or ask us to transfer it to a third party.

Right to Opt Out of Sale or Targeted Advertising

You may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising purposes. You can exercise this right through the link in our website footer or by enabling the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser.

Marketing Communications

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. We may still contact you about your orders and account.

If you reside in the UK or European Economic Area, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it as a legal basis. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before that withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@rebel-depot.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. You may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf — we'll require proof of authorization and may verify your identity directly. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

South Dakota privacy law

Rebel Depot LLC is organized under the laws of the State of South Dakota and complies with applicable South Dakota privacy and consumer protection law, including relevant provisions of the South Dakota Codified Laws (SDCL).

South Dakota does not currently have a comprehensive consumer data privacy statute equivalent to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). However, we believe in extending reasonable privacy rights to all our customers regardless of where they live. The rights described in this policy reflect our commitment to treating your data with respect — not just what the minimum law requires.

South Dakota residents who have questions about their rights or who wish to submit a complaint may also contact the South Dakota Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division:

Complaints

If you have concerns about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first. We'd genuinely like the chance to fix it before you have to go anywhere else. If we can't resolve it together, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

For residents of the EEA, a list of responsible data protection supervisory authorities can be found at edpb.europa.eu.

International transfers

Your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries other than where you live — including the United States and countries where Shopify and its partners operate. If we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent UK mechanisms, unless the transfer is to a country with an adequate level of data protection as determined by the relevant authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the law, or how we operate. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page and post the revised policy here. If changes are significant, we'll do our best to let you know. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
